BIM Competence Center
We provide comprehensive methodological and professional support for clients, designers, contractors, and property managers.
The goal of our BIM Competence Center is to transfer knowledge to clients’ employees in the investment and asset management departments, verify newly acquired knowledge, support the implementation of projects using the BIM method, and provide BIM manager and information manager services for the implementation of construction projects. Furthermore, we provide professional support in establishing a Common Data Environment (CDE) for sharing construction data and information, leading to the creation of a Building Information Model.
Phase 1 – Implementation of the BIM Method:
- Preparing the organization for the use of the BIM method for construction contracts
- Providing a standard for the use of the BIM method
- Support in defining the purpose of using the digital building model
- Defining requirements from the perspectives of design, implementation, and building use (operation and maintenance)
- Creation of a BIM protocol for public procurement of above-threshold construction contracts, including preBEP, EIR, and other annexes
- Provision of BIM manager and information manager services
Phase 2 – Strategy for Digitalization of Project Documentation and Management of Building Information Models:
- Current state analysis
- Development of a strategy and method for the digitalization of project documentation
- Digitalization of project documentation into a machine-readable data format
- Connecting current data to asset management systems
- Plan for the use of CMMS/CAFM and artificial intelligence tools for asset management
Phase 3 – Implementation of Facility Management Principles:
- Utilization of digitalized building data
- Creation of standards for concluding Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with service providers (internal or external) containing measurable KPIs
- Implementation of a CMMS/CAFM system for asset management, operation, and maintenance
- Regular evaluation of service efficiency and costs
